Some locations never go out of style, and the Frick in Pittsburgh is definitely one of them.
It had been several years since I last photographed a senior session at the Frick, and I was reminded all over again why it's one of the best locations for senior pictures in Pittsburgh. Between the historic buildings, beautiful gardens, charming gates, greenhouse, and gorgeous natural light, this location offers so much variety for senior portraits without ever having to travel far.
The greenhouse even came to the rescue during Veronica's senior photo session when a quick summer storm rolled through. We ducked inside for about ten minutes, waited out the rain, and then continued exploring the grounds for the rest of her photos. It's one of the many reasons I love photographing at the Frick - the location offers beautiful options no matter what surprises the weather decides to bring.
Veronica is an upcoming senior with a fun personality and a love for salty snacks - especially Cheddar Sun Chips, her favorite. She was joined by her sister during the session, which made the experience even more special.
What made this senior session especially meaningful is that Veronica's sister had her own senior photos taken at the Frick several years ago. Now, the two sisters will have senior portraits captured in the same beautiful Pittsburgh location.
