Amelia & Paul: Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Proposal Photos

One of the best proposals I've ever gotten to photograph My little brother proposing to his now fiancé!

Paul pulled off an epic surprise proposal back in September of 2024 in Charolette, NC! I am so honored to have been able to be the one to photograph such a sweet moment for these two!

I know I'm biased... but all of the thought that went into this proposal was so incredible! Paul had Amelia's friend from Pittsburgh come into town and bring her to the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Unbeknownst to Amelia, Paul was waiting in one of the areas of the garden for her! After he proposed, Amelia's mom & my mom popped out to surprise her too!

THEN Paul went a step further and made sure to bring a dress for Amelia to change into after the proposal for photos, and planned a surprise engagement party later that day with her friends to celebrate!

And yes... my mom and I drove through the hurricane weather to get there. We had quite the eventful time... but it was all worth it I am so excited for these two!!! Congratulations Paul & Amelia - love you both!

Preston: Peters Township High School Senior Photos

Meet Preston!

He's a Peters Township senior who hopes to study engineering post high school. He hopes to study engineering post high school and his senior session in the city was so much FUN!

I don't get to shoot in the city as often as I used to, so when I do, it's always a treat! We started off Preston's photos in the Strip District, then hit one of my favorite views of the city, then headed to Allegheny Commons Park for our last bit of time.

Preston's mom is an incredible Pittsburgh wedding photographer, so I was honored that she asked me to take his photos.

Luca S: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Luca is an Eden Christian Academy senior who plans to attend Liberty University post high school! He plays golf and is recently retired from hockey.

We had the perfect fall night for his senior photos... and the light was incredible at Hartwood Acres Mansion! October is by far my favorite time of year for senior photos.

Meet Andy

Andy is a senior at Ambridge graduating with the class of 2025! He hopes to study law after high school, has never eaten at Chipotle (gasp!), and has a great vintage style that he got to show off in his photos!

Timothy H: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Meet Tim! He's an Eden Christian Academy senior who plans to study science and/or math post high school. A few weeks ago, I photographed his senior portraits at Hartwood Acres!

You may remember Tim’s brother, Sam, and his senior session four years ago at Hartwood! (Click here to see it). I am always so honored when I get to photograph multiple seniors in one family!

We had a little bit of fall starting to peek out during his session... which was so much fun! I love seeing the seasons change in front of my lens as the months go by.

During his session, we also stopped down to the Hartwood Acres Stables for a few photos! It was a fun change of scenery - there are so many beautiful views down there!

Private Pittsburgh Proposal Photos at Phipps Conservatory

This beautiful surprise proposal took place yesterday afternoon! Nick successfully surprised his then girlfriend, now fiance Emma with a sunlit proposal in the Broderie Room at @phippsconservatory ! Not to mention he even got Emma's best friend Becca to come in and surprise her for the weekend Cue the happy tears!

Also, Emma is a huge fan of the Phantom's Opera, and her ring was designed to replicate the design of the ring used in the movie

A HUGE congratulations to Nick & Emma on their engagement!

Nathan W: Moraine State Park Senior Photos

We're heading into my favorite time of year for photos, when the foliage has so much color and texture... and the spot we used for Nathan's senior photos is one of my favorites during this time of year!

And even though it rained for quite a large portion of his session this morning... we got some great images!

Julia M: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

I already have so many favorites from this one!

Julia is a North Allegheny senior who hopes to go into the medical field post high school! She's a dancer, and she was such a blast to photograph! She brought two knock-out dresses that were perfect for twirling!

Also, she brought flowers to incorporate into her session from her Nonna's garden... so sweet & meaningful.

Amber & Ryan: Moraine State Park Engagement Photos

You may remember these two from earlier this year... I had the privilege of photographing their proposal in Zelienople earlier this spring (click here to see it)! I was so honored when they asked me to take their engagement & wedding photos. I loved getting to photograph them again in September at Moraine State Park!

And may I just say that Moraine State Park is my absolute favorite location this time of year, from now into the fall. I mean... can you believe all of those colors and textures?! The light was perfect last night... and I was so glad! It was a bit rainy the day of Amber & Ryan's proposal, so I had been hoping for a really beautiful day for their engagement photos. I'm so thankful that that's what we got!

Allison & Bryant: Sunrise Mellon Park Engagement Photos

We have a small intermission from senior season to feature these two - Allison & Bryant!

These two met while working at Chick-fil-A in 2018 and have been dating for six years! They got engaged at the Aviary and are getting married at the White Barn - my one of my favorite wedding venues! (Also, where Nick and I got married back in 2015, so I'm totally not biased )

But this session was extra special because Allison and I grew up across the street from each other! What a joy it is to celebrate this sweet season alongside these two!

Also, Allison & Bryant woke up on a Saturday for a sunrise session.. and we got some of the most gorgeous light as our reward!
