On our drive up to Maya's photo session, it POURED. Like, the entire way, massive amounts of rain. But as soon as we stepped out of the car to shoot, the most gorgeous light appeared! We had so much fun hanging out with her, her family, and her boyfriend during her session! Congratulations on your last year of school, Maya!
I had the honor of taking Lauren's photos on her sixteenth birthday! That's right, for her sweet sixteen, Lauren had a photo session gifted to her - and we had so much fun hanging out with her! Not to mention, she's a pro in front of the camera - I barely had to pose her at all! Enjoy a few of my favorites from this beautiful girl's photo session!
These two high school sweethearts chose one of my favorite spots for their engagement photos - Hartwood Acres Mansion! And they even brought their dog along for a couple of shots. Thanks for a great time, Jackie and Mike! Congratulations again on your engagement!
I love how life comes full circle. Starting at the end of high school and all through college, I worked in the banquets department of the Pittsburgh Marriott North - where Sandy and Tom had their wedding reception! It was fun to photograph a space I know so well and have seen photographed before by so many others.
We started off Sandy and Tom's wedding day at their home in Cranberry Township photographing her gorgeous bridal details! After, we headed over to one of my favorite ceremony locations, Calvary United Methodist Church, for a gorgeous ceremony, and later to the Pittsburgh Marriott North for the reception. Congratulations on your marriage, Sandy and Tom!

Like most people, I have a love/hate relationship with getting outside of my comfort zone. Photographing little Emerson was a little out of my comfort zone, but I am beyond thankful that I had the opportunity to photograph her and her parents within the first few weeks of her life and am so excited to share these images! Emerson's mom (Danielle) had so many beautiful details and ideas for photos - from fresh cut flowers from a local shop in Sewickley, to an iron crown fit for a queen, to the cutest little teepee - this family was such a joy to photograph! Keep scrolling to see a few of my favorites :)
We had the most beautiful day for Lauren's senior photos! Congratulations on your last year of school, Lauren!
This family is so much fun! We had so much fun running around Hartwood Acres Park with these two parents and their three little munchkins. They had races, played in bubbles, and got tickled... a lot! Thanks for a wonderful time, you five!
This was my first time ever stepping foot on to Grove City College's campus... and oh my, is it beautiful! Rachel and Paul met at the Grove, so it was only fitting that we went back to some of the most scenic areas for their engagement photos. From the clock tower, to Rainbow Bridge, to all of the beautiful doors and archways adorning the campus, this session is one for the books! Thank you, Rachel and Paul, for entertaining all of my crazy ideas (like jumping into a river) and for sprinting for that golden sunlight! So. Worth. It. Congratulations again, you two! Can't wait for the wedding!!
Jenna is the cutest - she has an incredibly fun personality and is going to be a 2017 graduate (and has awesome hair)! We had so much fun taking her photos at Phipp's Conservatory on a bright summer evening. Good luck on your last year of school, Jenna!
There's something so personal about photographing a wedding in someone's own home. Kate & Christian's wedding took place in Kate's parents' backyard garage (this is no ordinary garage, I promise!) in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania. This honestly might be one of the sweetest, most genuine and loving groups of people we've been privileged to work with! The couple, parents, and bridal party went out of their way to make sure we, the photographers, were taken care of - which meant so much, considering we were just vendors documenting the day!
We started off at Kate's childhood home, photographing all of the gorgeous bridal details, incorporating in an antique family heirloom silver serving tray. While the ladies were putting on their final touches, Brianna (Matron of Honor) and Kate shared a special moment together - Brianna, who was a few months pregnant at the time, gave Kate a colored garter to reveal the gender of Brianna's baby. And as you'll see from the photos, it's a boy! Such an exciting (and precious) moment to witness!
After Kate was in her dress, she shared a first look with her father - the first man in her life. It was an emotional moment - there wasn't a dry eye in the room (including mine!). We spent some time taking photos of the ladies and then headed over to the church to snap some photos of the groom and his groomsmen. After the ceremony, we traveled back to Kate's childhood home for some bride and groom portraits and then on to the multi-car "garage" in the back for the reception (which seemed like it was almost built for their wedding day), where Kate and Christian danced the night away!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for having us as a part of your day, Kate and Christian!
