Brooke tagged along for Nicole H.'s senior session earlier this summer and decided that she wanted us to take her senior photos, too! We met with Brooke on a gorgeous morning at Brush Creek Park - how gorgeous is this girl?! Good luck on the start of your senior year, Brooke!
Surrounded by friends and family on their big day, Sam and Brian's Pittsburgh wedding was the perfect way to commemorate a relationship that started at Robert Morris University in Moon Township. Because they moved to Jacksonville, Florida shortly after the wedding, Sam and Brian opted to have photos taken downtown to remember the city where they met. Congratulations to this sweet couple!
From the Andy Warhol on the North Shore to the Cathedral of Learning in Oakland, Brianna and Corey's engagement session was beautiful in every day! (And somehow, Brianna's sweater matched the flowers on the Andy Warhol PERFECTLY!) Below are a few of our favorites from their session!
We started Ben's senior session out at his house with his bike (isn't it awesome?!), and then took a short drive over to North Boundary Park, where we found some killer light and great scenery. Thanks for an awesome time, Ben! Congrats on your last year!
Melanie and John's intimate wedding took place at the Chapel Valley Estates Bed & Breakfast in late June. Even though the ceremony was rained out and moved inside the tent, Melanie and John's immense love for one another was seen by every person in attendance.
A huge thanks to the wonderful people at Chapel Valley Estates for their wonderful service and kindness throughout the day!
Callie and Jenna are two high school best friends who will be attending colleges in the fall hundreds of miles away from each other. What better way to commemorate a best friendship than with a photo session? :) Even though the rain didn't want to cooperate during the end of our first shoot (prohibiting us from getting photos on the Roberto Clemente bridge), we rescheduled and took some extra photos on a gorgeous (and humid!) summer morning. I am so lucky to have been able to photograph this friendship! Best of luck to you both, Callie and Jenna!
We had a beautiful summer evening for Jess and Todd's engagement photos. Below are a few of my favorites from their session! Congratulations you two!
Photographing couples downtown has become one of my favorites. There is so much variety in downtown Pittsburgh... and Susan and Michael were so natural in front of the camera! Even through the rain, they were troopers AND were willing to brave the elements {with no umbrella} on the roof of their apartment building! What a dream. From the Roberto Clemente to the Magnolia trees on Fifth and Penn, we loved every minute of photographing these two - check out a few favorites below!
Lexy and Anthony's gorgeous Historic Summit Inn Hotel wedding was loaded with the most beautiful details, from stunning accessories, to a crystal beaded dress, to a sweet ceremony in the church where her parents had been married years before. Everything about this wedding was glamorous and heartfelt, and I couldn't feel more honored to have been asked to capture it in these photos! Especially since Lexy (and now Anthony, too!) and her family are like family to mine. We love you guys!
In addition to photographing this gorgeous affair, we also had the honor of filming her wedding (a first for JHP!) Be sure to scroll through all of the photos to the bottom of this post for a sneak peak of Lexy and Anthony's teaser video - filmed by my talented fiancé, Nick Sasala!

We had a smashing time (pun intended :) ) at Carly's first birthday party! This little lady celebrated in style with lemonade flavored cupcakes, a cake smash, and a pink tutu! So many beautiful details - my favorite! A big thanks to Michael and Jennifer Williams of Michael Will Photography (they are amazing photographers!) for giving me the honor of photographing this adorable event!
