Karen + Tom: Cranberry Township Private Estate Wedding Photography

We kicked off our 2015 wedding season with Karen and Tom at their private residence Cranberry Township wedding! Karen was dressed in a gorgeous off-white dress, adorned with her great grandmother's jewelry. Tom and Karen's kids (and granddaughter!) made up the bridal party. Cocktail hour was spent poolside, and reception music included an authentic Irish accordion, paired with Irish dancing! On top of all of that, Karen and Tom's friends and family treated us like two of their own. What a way to kick off the 2015 season! Thanks to everyone who made us feel so welcome!

Best Eats & Treats: Food Truck Photography at Moraine State Park (Cranberry Township Photographer)

Food and photography - it doesn't get much better than this! We had the pleasure of photographing the "Best Eats & Treats" food truck a few weeks ago at Moraine State park, along with a couple of enticing recipes! (Yes, we did try the food - and it was fantastic! I may or may not have eaten brownies for dinner that night...) But in all seriousness, if you're in need of a food truck for your event, give them a call! You can find their Facebook page here. Brielle's First Birthday: Hartwood Acres Photography

If you ever need someone to style your baby's first birthday photo session... this little lady's mom is the person you need to call! This first birthday session is complete with a giant balloon, a turquoise chair, a lacy romper, and some killer light. We even got the whole family in for the cake smash portion! (Brielle was too much of a lady to smash into the cake!)

Sarah + Steve, Wexford Bartram House Bakery Engagement

We had the opportunity to photograph Sarah and Steve at the adorable Bartram House Bakery in Wexford, where their first date took place. After eating some sweet treats, we took a stop at Christ Church at Grove Farm, where they both attend together. We had an awesome time hanging out with these two, and can't wait for the wedding!

Woodland Styled Sister Portraits

It's always an honor when someone asks me to give them some photography tips. I've become a huge fan of helping people through figuring out their camera, their lenses, and their lighting (even though I still have so much to learn myself!). Recently, I met a lovely lady who I've been mentoring in photography, and we decided to style a little mini-shoot to practice shooting. Her daughters were the models, and they did a fantastic job! Sister Portraits | Cranberry Township Headshots

You might recognize these two little ladies from a family shoot back in 2014! These two ladies are pursuing child modeling, and I think you'll agree - they are definitely going places! This session took place in the family's home (called a lifestyle session). I absolutely love creating photos in clients' homes (especially when it's 5 degrees outside ;) )! There's something so personal about taking photos in an environment that the subject is connected to.
