Julia + Thomas | North Park Engagement

Julia and Thomas are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the privilege to photograph! Driving to the shoot, it was pouring down rain - but once we arrived, it stopped and we were able to use some of that beautiful after-rain light! In addition to their "street clothes," we also took a few shots of Julia and Thomas in their wedding garb - but I'll have to wait to share those until after the wedding! A huge thanks to Crystal and Kaylin from My Image for Julia's beautiful hair and makeup. You guys rock.

Jo H. | North Park Senior Session

You might recognize the lovely Jo from her sibling session a few months back (see it here). We had so much fun hanging out at North Park taking Jo's senior photos - she even brought her pom pons and a bag full of her dance shoes for us to incorporate into the shoot!

Kyle C. | Zelienople Senior Session

Kyle is a 2014 Seneca Valley senior, and we had an awesome time shooting his portraits this past week in the little town of Zelienople. He's a member of Seneca's ROTC program, and can hold himself up by his own strength parallel to the ground (see the last photo). Thanks for an awesome shoot, Kyle!

I absolutely love taking photos of friends! These two have been dating for about a year and a half, and asked me to snap a few quick photos of them around Robert Morris University's campus in between finals. You guys are the best - thanks for a great time!

Flower Child

Spring made an appearance yesterday, and the weather was too beautiful to deny an impromptu shoot. Getting some beautiful free flowers may have also had something to do with it!

I don't often shoot in a studio, but when I do, it's usually with this girl, my lovely friend Sara (who is also a photographer). And she was even kind enough to model for me (it can be hard to get in front of the camera when you're used to being behind it)! I couldn't leave this gem out.

Laughter shows people as they as their most natural, true self. I have no problem making myself look or sound stupid... as long as I get a good laugh, it's worth it - every time. I've got to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of winter once Christmas is over - but there is something I love about shooting in the snow. It provides such a beautiful, peaceful backdrop.

Greensburg Horse Barn

A few days ago, I visited a friend from school in Greensburg, PA, who happens to own a horse. It was the perfect photo opportunity (and the perfect time to try out my new lens!).

I always love photographing people with their most prized posessions, and this day was no different. Megan has been riding Freedom (her horse) for years, and there was an obvious bond between them.
