"The human race has only one really effective weapon and that is laughter." - Mark Twain If there's one thing I absolutely love capturing in photographs, it's laughter. Laughter shows people as they as their most natural, true self. I have no problem making myself look or sound stupid... as long as I get a good laugh, it's worth it - every time. Thanks to Allison for laughing at my stupid jokes!
(Also, these are from this past fall - to brighten up your winter day!)
I've got to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of winter once Christmas is over - but there is something I love about shooting in the snow. It provides such a beautiful, peaceful backdrop.
There's something about music on vinyl.
A few days ago, I visited a friend from school in Greensburg, PA, who happens to own a horse. It was the perfect photo opportunity (and the perfect time to try out my new lens!).
I always love photographing people with their most prized posessions, and this day was no different. Megan has been riding Freedom (her horse) for years, and there was an obvious bond between them.
I'm excited to announce the grand opening of my new Etsy shop! The shop features some photos from a trip I recently took to Ireland, which are available for purchase in 8 x 10", 11 x 14", and 16 x 20". I'd be honored if you took a few minutes of your day to check it out. Click here to view!
A few months ago, Nick and I had the priviledge of taking some photos three siblings, who gave their parents framed prints for Christmas. What a sweet gift! Also, the girls are dancers, so we took a few photos with their point shoes on. You guys are awesome, thanks for being so great to work with!
“My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?” - Bob Hope “Christmas, children, is not a date. It is a state of mind. ” - Mary Ellen Chase
A few shots from Christmas day. Merry (belated) Christmas!
One of the jolliest men I've ever met.
Great Grandma T.I., 95 years old.
Kelli and Ashton's wedding took place on a snowy day in November. After shooting their engagement session this past summer, it was easy to see how much love they have for one another (which makes my job that much easier!). In short, was a blessing to be able to capture their special day. Congratulations, you two, and Nick and I wish you all the best! (A big thanks to my second shooter Nick for giving me a hand!)
Epic.
A huge thanks to Nick for capturing this moment!
Two of Ashton's brothers sang "Puff the Magic Dragon" during the mother-son dance.
We love you guys!
I'm a Christmas fanatic. Everything about it makes me wish it was a year round celebration! But, then again, that wouldn't make it quite as special. This past weekend I did a photobooth at Grace Community Church's youth group Christmas party, and it was an awesome time! I even got to jump in for a few photos. Enjoy, and Merry (early) Christmas!
We got the last bit of fall colors (and awesome light) in Alex's senior session a few weeks ago at his session in North Park! Even though it was a little chilly, he pushed through the cold like a champ. Thanks for a great session, Alex!
