Kelli + Ashton | New Wilmington Wedding

Kelli and Ashton's wedding took place on a snowy day in November. After shooting their engagement session this past summer, it was easy to see how much love they have for one another (which makes my job that much easier!). In short, was a blessing to be able to capture their special day. Congratulations, you two, and Nick and I wish you all the best! (A big thanks to my second shooter Nick for giving me a hand!)

Christmas Photo Booth

I'm a Christmas fanatic. Everything about it makes me wish it was a year round celebration! But, then again, that wouldn't make it quite as special. This past weekend I did a photobooth at Grace Community Church's youth group Christmas party, and it was an awesome time! I even got to jump in for a few photos. Enjoy, and Merry (early) Christmas!

Alex T. | North Park Senior Session

We got the last bit of fall colors (and awesome light) in Alex's senior session a few weeks ago at his session in North Park! Even though it was a little chilly, he pushed through the cold like a champ. Thanks for a great session, Alex!

Lights

A few weeks ago I did a little experiment to see if I could create interesting portraits using a technique I learned through shooting wedding receptions (giving motion to light). The results came out pretty interesting! And I only had to pay my model (my sister) with a Sheetz milkshake and hot fries. I'd say that's a win!

Collin C. | Pittsburgh Senior Session

From the North Side to the South Side, we covered most of Pittsburgh for Collin's awesome senior session! We even found a parking garage with a view of the city. Collin, you're awesome! Thanks for a great session!

Damaris + Scott | Allison Park Wedding

Damaris and Scott had an absolutely beautiful wedding day surrounded by family and friends - some of which joined them for the ceremony over Skype from Spain (photo below)! Their bridal party was fantastic, and even though it rained almost the entire day, the weather didn't stop them from having an awesome time. Congratulations, Damaris and Scott - we love you guys! Thanks to the Bloom Brigade for the beautiful floral arrangements, and to the Pittsburgh DJ Company for a great time at the reception!

Rebecca + Zac | Soergel's Orchard Engagement

Let me just start out by saying that fall is my absolute favorite season! So, obviously - I was completely stoked when Becca contacted me early summer asking if we could wait until fall for her and Zac's engagement shoot! The shoot took place at Soergel's Orchard in Wexford, PA on a gorgeous, sunny morning. Becca and Zac made my job easy - they are so natural with each other and in front of the camera. Shannon + Kyle | Parker Wedding

Shannon and Kyle had a beautiful barn wedding (complete with handmade decorations by the bride) in Parker, Pennsylvania in early August. This wedding was special for quite a few reasons - but the most important being that Kyle is Nick's (my boyfriend) brother! It was an honor to be chosen to capture their big day. Congratulations Shannon and Kyle, your day was beautiful!

Carter Smith | McConnells Mill Senior Session

Carter Smith is a senior graduating from Eden Christian Academy in the spring of 2014. He is an awesome cross country runner (we used his track shoes and a medal he won for a few of his photos) and an all around great guy!
