Breakfast for dinner. A tie from her late grandfather wrapped around her bouquet. A gorgeous (and warm) March day. Chrissy & Chris' spring wedding was incredibly beautiful! You might remember this couple from their Riverview Park engagement session a few months ago (hint: they brought a sword as a prop). Their wedding reception took place at the Mayernik Center in Avonworth Park where they were surrounded by friends & family. Enjoy a few of our favorites from the day!
Chrissy is a school teacher, so the maps and chalkboard behind her were the perfect backdrop and nod to her career!

We had so much fun photographing this fellow Walt Disney World loving couple’s wedding! Kim and John’s Pittsburgh wedding started off at Northgate Church where the couple shared their first look and a moment together before the day officially began. After, we headed to the columns at the Mellon Institute and Cathedral of Learning in Oakland for some gorgeous bridal party and couple photos, and then returned to the church for the ceremony (where, I admit, I teared up while a friend of the couple read a poem written to Kim by John, written for their first Valentine’s together). We even snuck the newlyweds out for a couple of night portraits before sending them off with a sparkler exit! Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Huwe! We hope you had a ton of fun in Disney!

Lauren + Aleks had one of the most beautiful weddings I've been privileged to photograph! If you've never been to the Hotel Monaco (A Kimpton Hotel) in Pittsburgh, you're in for a treat - it's one of the most stunning, modern wedding venues I've ever seen! In addition to a gorgeous venue, Lauren + Aleks' ceremony was held at the Holy Trinity Serbian Cathedral. After the ceremony, we headed to the North Shore for some quick Roberto Clemente Bridge shots, and finished the portrait session of the day back at the Hotel Monaco, where the unique decor made for some stunning shots!

Jess + Todd's gorgeous fall wedding was a true Pittsburgh celebration! Their ceremony took place at the grotto at St. John and Paul Catholic Church, with photos at the West End Overlook, and a reception at the Station Square Sheraton, overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline. Swoon. Congratulations again to these two great people!

This wedding made my little wedding photographer heart happy for so many reasons. It occurred during my favorite time of year (fall), had an insane amount of beautiful details (with custom signage made by the bride herself), took place at a plethora of unique locations (including the Barnard House Bed & Breakfast & Allegheny Grille), and best of all - all of that with an incredibly sweet, in love couple!
A huge thanks to these two for having us share in their special day! We truly consider it an honor to have been able to photograph your wedding.

Emily & Jared were married at the end of September on a gorgeous, early-fall day. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful couple, bridal party, and family.
There are so many details that made this wedding one of a kind. From the programs designed by a friend of the bride to the endless array of details carefully placed throughout Dundee Farm, this wedding was truly a joy to capture from beginning to end. (We were even able to sneak the bride & groom out for a couple of portraits during golden hour!) I consider it an honor to have been a part of your day, Emily and Jared. Andrea and Cameron's perfect day at Succop Conservancy was full of beautiful light and close friends and family. This day was one of my favorites of the summer for a few reasons:I went to high school with Andrea and graduated with her sister (and Maid of Honor), and we had four people from JHP present for this wedding (2 for photo, 2 for video!). Laura and Dan's intimate Heinz Chapel wedding made my heart melt! With 20 of their very closet friends and family, Laura and Dan exchanged heart-felt vows (I might've teared up a bit) on a gorgeous, sunny Pittsburgh morning. The bride's gorgeous ensemble was inspired by Kate Middleton's wedding day look (stunning, right?) - the perfect look for this black tie affair. I loved working with you two, Laura and Dan! Thank you for the honor of capturing your love!

Debra and Zach's Butler Atrium wedding was fit for royalty. Their subtly themed Disney wedding included so many elegant details, including a "Bibbity bobbity blue" (Cinderella inspired) signature drink, to a head table fit for royalty, to a lantern send off (tangled inspired) - everything about this wedding seemed to jump straight from the pages of a fairytale storybook - including Debra and Zach's love for each other. It was an honor to photograph this beautiful chapter of your story, Debra and Zach!
