Sara's senior session took place on one of the most beautiful fall days we had this year! And, lucky for us, the view at the Pittsburgh Field Club highlighted all of those changing fall colors PERFECTLY! I photographed one of Sara's best friends, Conner, earlier this year at Hartwood Acres and was honored when she asked me to take her senior photos, too! We had so much fun checking out all of the beautiful little spots for photos at the Field Club, and let me say - this girl's style is on point! Congratulations on your last year of school, Sara!! :)

There are SO many things to love about Carli! I've known Carli for quite a few years through Grace Community Church, and I was so honored when she reached out to see if I would take her senior photos!! As you will be able to see from her photos, Carli is a kind, sweet soul who radiates joy wherever she goes! She truly loves those around her, and is just a joy to be around.
Carli incorporated her violin into her fall session (her favorite season!) to add a little personal touch to her photos. We absolutely LOVED taking these for you, Carli! Thank you so much for the incredible honor!

I feel like we experienced all of the seasons Pittsburgh has to offer during Emily's portrait session at Hartwood Acres Mansion! When we first arrived, it was a little bit gloomy and overcast - about 20 minutes into the session, the gloominess turned into a windstorm, then a rain storm (I swear I saw snow at one point!!), complete with a double rainbow, and then all of a sudden, the sun came out and we had some absolutely gorgeous light for about ten minutes - just enough time to get some killer shots! All of that in less than an hour and a half. Pittsburgh never ceases to amaze me!
Emily is drop dead gorgeous, as you probably can already tell from the banner image for her featured blog post!! She's also a pro in front of the camera and has the sweetest family (her brother and mom came along for her session!). I had so much fun taking these for you, Emily! Congratulations on your last year of school!

Kaylee hopped out of her family's car at Hartwood, and before I knew she was the senior I would be photographing, I thought to myself "I love that girl's dress! She's gorgeous!" Hartwood was SUPER busy that day with photo sessions, but much to my joy, the girl in the dress was my senior for the evening!
This history-buff loves old architecture, which made Hartwood Acres Mansion the perfect fit for her senior session! She also loves to read, so she brought a few of her favorite books for us to incorporate into her session. Congratulations on your last year of school, Kaylee!!

Oakmont Country Club was the perfect backdrop for Justin's senior photos - especially being a golfer himself! The club is known as the "oldest top-ranked golf course in the United States," and was established in 1903. With lots of charm and classic decor, Oakmont provided ample opportunity for unique imagery - and Justin was a pro in front of the camera! Congratulations on your last year of school, Justin!

I loved having the opportunity to take Hannah's senior portraits at Hartwood Acres just a few short weeks ago! Hannah is a senior at Eden Christian Academy (where I am an alum!) and just has the sweetest personality (and of course, the most beautiful hair!). Congratulations on your last year of high school, Hannah! :)

Chance's senior session took place at his family's home in Baden, near Cranberry Township. I loved that we had the opportunity to incorporate some of Chance's hobbies and interests into his photos, including his motorcycle, his love of hunting, and a fire pit (that was a first for me, but I love how the photos turned out!!). We had a great time working with you, Chance!
Check out a few favorites from Chance's session below!

Right at the beginning of Lauren, Cody, and Jam's family session, I learned that Lauren and Cody got engaged just a few weeks prior (congratulations again, you two!!!) in an epic proposal that literally happened ON the Pittsburgh incline, right at twilight! Talk about romantic!! But the true purpose for these photos was to get some shots of all three members of this adorable family (including Jameson or "Jam") to hang on their walls! We used one of my favorite spots at Moraine State Park and got all kinds of scenery - woods, fields, a dock, and a beautiful rocky shoreline for lots of variety! I just love these three and am so excited to share their photos!

How many high school seniors do you know who want to go to school to become a cardiac pediatric surgeon? Anyone? None? Hard to believe! When Rachel told me she had a passion for the heart and a love for children, which made becoming a cardiac pediatric surgeon a no brainer for her, I was in complete awe! The fact that this girl has such a specific calling and passion for something so specific amazes me - God makes us all so individually beautiful and unique! And, as you might be able to tell looking through her photos - we had SO MUCH FUN taking her photos! She is a ball of joy and energy and I am so excited to share her portraits! Rachel, you are going to do amazing things!!

Today I'm excited to share Danielle's senior photos from her McConnell's Mill senior session! I had the privilege of photographing Danielle's brother, Joey, just last year at McConnell's Mill for his senior photos (see more from his session here). I love this family and I'm just so excited to share these photos of this sweet girl!
