Jillian W: Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

Meet Jillian!

Jillian is a Chartier's Valley senior who plans to study Psychology post graduation! She's a lover of Italian food (specifically chicken parm) and of all things sweet... especially chocolate!

All of her (beautiful) outfits are from Altar'd State, and she brought a colorful bouquet of flowers with her to incorporate throughout her photos.. which I just love!

Congratulations on your upcoming senior year, Jillian! Thank you for letting us be a part of such a sweet time in your life.

And a huge thank you to my assistant (and friend) Dani for assisting and being the best outfit fixer! If you've had a senior session with me this year, you know how helpful and encouraging she is. Thanks for all your help, Dani!

Meet Vivian!

Vivian is a super sweet rising senior at Upper Saint Clair! She is a cheerleader who hopes to pursue teaching post high-school. We squeezed most of her session in last night before a torrential downpour - and we got rained out towards the very end! Thankfully, we were able to reschedule part 2 of her session the following week, when there was more sunshine! ❤️

Vivian, you are a gem! Thanks for braving the wind and the rain!

Meet Gabby!

Gabby is a senior at Canon-Mcmillan who traveled all the way up to Hartwood Acres Mansion for her senior photos last night!

We were originally scheduled to take her photos a few days prior, but due to some unpredictable rain & storms that day, we postponed to later in the week. And honestly... I'm so glad we did! We ended up having the most beautiful spring day for her photos around the mansion - so many trees were in bloom!

There was also a little surprise that took place during Gabby's session, unbeknownst to her... scroll through to see what happened!

Congratulations on your senior year, Gabby!

Meet Delanie!

Delanie is a North Catholic senior who wants to study neuroscience post high school! She loves science and math and had the BEST November day ever for her senior photos!

It's true, November can be a toss up for photos here in Pittsburgh... but when it's slightly warm and the sun is shining, the conditions are some of my favorite for photos. The light is just so beautiful... and we were even able to catch the tail end of some fall color for these portraits!

I am so excited to share more from this session. Congrats on your senior year, Delanie!

Meet Camille!

I love that Camille brought so many meaningful things to incorporate into her session! Her one year old black lab, Roxie, a sketch pad, and a book - not to mention some beautiful florals that complimented her last outfit perfectly!

We had such a great evening for Camille's photos! The weather was beautiful... it almost felt like fall.

Congrats on your senior year, Camille!

Meet Natalia!

Natalia was a JOY to photograph! Her bubbly personality shone in her photos all throughout her session - we had such a fun time!

Natalia shared with me that she had been looking forward to her senior session since her freshman year - so of course, it was such an honor to be the one to document this season for her!

She's also a twin (I photographed her twin sister a week after her!), a varsity cheerleader, and hopes to attend college somewhere with a warmer climate!

Congrats on your senior year, Natalia!

Chloe A: Sunrise Hartwood Acres Mansion Senior Photos

I met Chloe and her mom at Hartwood Acres Mansion on a beautiful morning at sunrise for her senior session - and boy was it worth it! We had the most gorgeous golden light. I don’t photograph a ton of sunrise sessions, but when I do, they always become my favorites!

Chloe brought a few extra bouquets of flowers to incorporate into her session, which matched almost perfectly with the flowers in the Hartwood garden! They added a beautiful pop to her photos. She even put some in her hair near the end of her session, and we found a beautiful bush that complimented them beautifully!

Chloe is a senior who plans to study marketing post high school! She loves going to concerts, is a barista, and even though she's not a morning person she rocked her early morning session. Congrats on your senior year, Chloe!

Hartwood, florals, the most beautiful sunshine = the perfect night for senior photos!

Alexis is a senior at Chartiers Valley who hopes to work in speech pathology post high school graduation! She is also musically inclined and is on her school's drill team. And as you can see - she's stunning! All of her outfits were absolutely perfect choices for the Hartwood grounds... and I love that she chose one short dress, one long dress, and one outfit with a pair of pants. It let us get so many different posing options and tons of variety for her gallery!

Alexis also brought some additional florals for us to work into her photos, including two bouquets and some long stem flowers that we chopped the heads off of for the “laying in the flower” photo. Her mom actually went and hand picked all of her flowers to match her outfits… which I think is the sweetest touch!

Congrats on your senior year, Alexis - thank you so much for the honor of getting to celebrate with season with you!
